May 27, 2003 To Whom It May Concern: I have had the pleasure of knowing Dell Deaton in the ... Divorce Peer Fellowship Group for the past year. Dell has been the dedicated group facilitator. Dell is consistently surprising me with his professionalism, kindness, and concern for the continuous flow of personality types that come into the group, people like myself whose lives are being altered by a series of events. These events are usually caused by someone else's life-changing decisions and we are left to pick up the pieces left of our our lives and "move on." Not as easy as it may sound. As the facilitator, Dell is constantly available to the members as needed by e-mail, phone, or in person, challenging us to grow and learn from the past. If not for this incredible group, I do not know where I would turn. Many of us feel the same way. He will never know the magnitude of positive influence he has had on our families, and possibly their future families. He donates his time and energy to the healing of those of us in need just out of the goodness of his heart. At the same time he is raising his small son, managing a household and is also working a full time job. He is a wonderful role model and friend. — Manchester, Michigan |
