Tuesday, March 15, 2005 Ah — dating and the chase! For some, the mere thought that another person is utterly, totally disinterested in us propels them to the top of our "must have" lists. Maybe there's something in the smoke from the exhaust trail behind their fleeing vehicles that makes for an aphrodisiac. Transactional analysis lends perspective through what it describes as the "'Attraction-Rejection' Game." (This, appropriately, from "ChangingMinds.org" — subtitled, "How we change what others think, believe, feel and do.") Better still, check out this advice from Carolyn Hax, in The Ann Arbor News, Sunday.
If you think sucking in exhaust fumes is a choker, just imagine the sensations you'll be treated to in hot pursuit of your former lover's high horse. —posted by Dell Deaton @11:54 AM EST 3/15/2005 [150] |
